El Hachem works with a reduced vocabulary of recurring shapes—almost-glyphs that hover between script, nature, and anatomy. Repeated, rotated, and re-scaled across canvases, these marks never settle into fixed symbols. They form a dispersed diagram or multiplicity rather than a stable image, carrying identity through difference and repetition, drift and misreading instead of figurative narrative.
