IAH is pleased to announce its participation in Paris Internationale 2026, with a presentation of works by Soojung Jung, Heemin Son, and Noah El Hachem.

Soojung Jung dismantles and rearranges images drawn from contemporary events, classical painting, mythology, film, and popular culture to build worlds that feel at once familiar and strange. Figures, plants, animals, and ornamental fragments combine across the pictorial field, while shifts in density and open space continually reposition the boundary between figure and ground and the order in which images are read.

Having approached unseen life through biological hypotheses and accumulated forms, Heemin Son now composes her sculptures as incomplete bodies with openings and hollow interiors. Within structures where breath passing through can give rise to sound, life is treated as a latent state, activated through contact and passage.

Noah El Hachem arranges profiles, recurring objects, and empty spaces as elements designed for painting. Built through repeated sessions and periods of drying, the layers sit adjacent while each keeps its own time; the figure is held within the structure, and different durations can be read on a single surface.
