이수지는 환상과 실제가 뒤섞인 세상을 구현하고 포착합니다. 작가는 우리가 끊임없이 소비하지만, 익숙함으로 곧잘 무시되는 존재들을 관찰합니다. 친밀감을 불러일으키는 한결같이 자연스럽고 침묵하는 사물을 발견하고 시각적으로 재배열합니다. 사진 속 피사체는 어떤 위화감을 내재하고 인간의 개입이 시공간에 미치는 영향을 가시화합니다. 유쾌함과 약간의 상실감을 오가는 작품은 진실한 사진의 영역을 실현하면서 세상의 구성을 다른 시선으로 바라보게 합니다.
